Come on! Terrible New UI decision
I'm not sure who Microsoftoutlook decided to place the number of unread messages right next to the folder name, but they clearly don't use Outlook with multiple email addresses and multiple subfolder...
Rename the folder. Add many spaces and then a period "." at the end. Doing so will move the "count" to the right making it more visible.
