Come on! Terrible New UI decision
I'm not sure who Microsoftoutlook decided to place the number of unread messages right next to the folder name, but they clearly don't use Outlook with multiple email addresses and multiple subfolder...
Just a band-aid suggestion. Rename the folder, adding many spaces at the end with "." as the last character.
