Can't send email with Thunderbird thru outlook.office365.com

Hi there,&nbsp;Here my configuration :PC with window 11Outlook new version (works well)Office365 account (professional one)Thunderbird : version 128.2.0esr (64-bit)Plus the add-on OWL&nbsp;Everything works well except the possibility to send email thru Thunderbird.&nbsp;If I try to send an e-mail, here what I get :" Login to server outlook.office365.com with username (my email address) failed."&nbsp;Weird !!!!!&nbsp;SMTP configuration :Server name : outlook.office365.comPort : 587User Name : (my email address)Authentication method : OAuth2Connection Security : STARTTLS&nbsp;Thank you for your assistance on that matter.Alex

I believe the outgoing server name must be smtp.office365.com.

Please try signing in with a new Thunderbird profile.

If a new Thunderbird profile works, then for most people it is best to continue using the new profile.

Hi FrederikI created a new profile, set up it under Exchange/Office365 with the add-on OWL.I try to send a email test and the error message is :"Login to server outlook.office365.com with username (my email address) failed.At this point I do not know what to do. Everything works perfectly except the sending part. 😞

OK, then next try. 🙂Is it in your case mandatory that you use the OWL plugin? (to get your data over OWA)Isn't the current 'standard' option possible?See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/microsoft-oauth-authentication-and-thunderbird-202This page talks also about the same error you receive.In case you need to use the OWL plugin; are u using the latest version? (currently 1.3.3)
