Cannot open attached files larger then some 7 MB at Microsoft Outlook.com email

Hello, everybody !

I cannot open attached files larger then some 7 MB at Microsoft Outlook.com email.

The notice “Error downloading the file. Could not fetch the file content” appears.

I can open them with Gmail and even with my phone, but not with Microsoft Outlook.com email.

This problem has appeared some two month ago.

It is not happening every day, in some days I can open them.

That is some mystics, I cannot explain it.

I have contacted with Microsoft Help assistant, but he was not able to help me with this issue.

Files which are smaller then 7 MB is opening without any problem.

Does anybody faced with such a problem ?

Can somebody help with this issue, please ?

      Hi !

I'm using internet version of Outlook and using it for many years, but this problem appeared just some 2 month ago and only with attached files bigger than some 7-8 MB.
Smaller files Outlook is opening without any problem.

I can open these bigger files with Gmail or with my phone Outlook application, but cannot open with my computer. Sometimes it's opening, sometimes not (the same file), however I'm not changing anything in my computer or Outlook settings.

I can't understand why is that and how to fix it.

      See attachment.
