Can´t add IMAP email to the outlook Desktop APP Windows 11
I have several emails already in the outlook Desktop APP Windows 11. Some of them are other outlook accounts, some are IMAP.
For some reason I can´t add a new specific IMAP account. I do can add it to the outlook mobile app, and to other email providers, so this is an issue with the desktop app.
A possible hypothesis on why is this happening, is that I already have another email called the same, but with different domain. However, that doesn't give me issue in the mobile app.
I have been having this type of issues with the outlook Desktop APP in the last 2 years. I remember having trouble adding an Outlook account. I assume the app is extremely buggy, and im not the only one having issues adding accounts.

Hi Jorge, adding an account when Outlook is first launched or when open might not set up with IMAP I have found. I go to the control pane/mail app and add it manually in the profile. This will allow you to configure the IMAP settings a bit differently and I have success more often this way. The autoconnector to add might be trying to connect to the wrong server.
Let me know how this works for you!
