Anyone else hate the New Desktop Outlook?.
Hello people
I was wondering if anyone else Hated the Desktop version of Outlook?. To me its slower and unresponsive compared to previous versions. Even Windows Mail was faster and the brings up old email accounts that you deleted and no longer use long ago.
It seems while good intentions this one has not been tested properly. Just shoved out the door. And lastly trying to find Emails that your sent or received is another nightmare. You have to restart twice before it finally decides oh look there emails.

My company upgraded to Windows 11 and the new Outlook. After having spent a few months with it, I can say it isn't a learning curve issue, this Outlook doesn't work well, it is slow, often not intuitive and can be extremely frustrating. This needs more development work.

Once again, I have to wonder who does UX testing for Microsoft? Do they realize that Outlook is used by a large portion of the business community? Who are they designing for? 13 year old girls? I can have sparkly unicorn themes, but no way to cut and paste, or move messages to another folder. Honestly, this is truly a WTF release!

Agree with you on email accounts and I hate the way it displays the email without asking if you want to check for virus or spam .

The new Outlook hurts my eyes even when set for large font. I can't make any changes beyond that. It is not an improvement, and Microsoft should apologize for this mistake and return to the old Outlook that had much better features.

Please hold while I load three year old temper tantrum.... I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT.
I can't say anything different than what ya'll have already said. This Outlook is garbage.

It's absolutely garbage. Whatever "genius" thought people would like it needs to be fired and the old guys brought back. I've switched back to Thunderbird a long time ago because I just cant use it the way I need or want. Microsoft has really adopted this mentality that their users are idiots, let's take stuff away. Just like with Windows 11, we'll our users can't possibly read the words "cut", "copy", "rename", etc., so let's make them all icons instead that don't hotkey. At least with most Windows garbage, you can still force it to work right. Outlook? I'll never look back to it unless they allow you to use the old version again.

Yes, many users feel the new Outlook for Windows is slower, less responsive, and missing features compared to classic Outlook. It’s still in active development, so feedback via the Feedback Hub or Outlook’s built-in feedback option is the best way to push improvements.

I agree with you HillenL ...it's getting better slowly and more features that were already available in the Classic Outlook are being added each month. What is a little dissappointing is that there don't appear to be any official Microsoft people responding to the feedback on this page...or maybe it's just hard to find those responses. But we need to be persistent with out feedback I agree!

This is exactly why it shouldn't have been released yet. The new trends to push unfinished products to production is a flawed process. All it does is push crappy products in the name of profit. Ensh!tification (credit to Cory Doctorow).

I have tried for months to use the new outlook but I can't, I just can't do this any more. Today I needed to set alert sound for one emails address and I can't even do that. At this point I'm looking for an alternative app to view my emails.
