Account doubled up
Hi,
I reinstalled Outlook after Windows 11 and changed it to IMAP. I use Bluemail and Webmail. My account did not establish itself completely. Only the most recently received emails were uploaded after reinstalling. I checked the options and my first account with no folders was loaded. Then I discovered a button on the top right of the window to set up a second account, on clicking it my full account was retrieved. Now I have both the first corrupt account as the primary and the second fully populated account. My question is how can I delete the first corrupt account? Thanks

Hi Roland1000000,
you can try to delete this doubled up account. To remove the account you can follow these steps:
- Open Outlook and click on File at the top left.
- Choose Account Settings > Account Settings.
- Highlight the account you wish to delete and click on Remove.
Deleting the account in Outlook doesn't deactivate the email account itself, so after you have removed it, you can add it again.

LeonPavesic Leon,
The problem I have is the primary account does not show in the account options setting, only the second account. I may have a workaround by converting the .ost to a .pst. The first account is .ost the second is .pst.
Thanks
