Unable to create a OneDrive account using a custom domain email.
I am contacting you regarding an issue with creating a OneDrive account using our company’s custom domain email address.
Our company uses the domain interfresh.com.vn, and we would like to create and use OneDrive accounts with our company email addresses, such as mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons.
However, we are currently unable to create a OneDrive account using an email address under this custom domain.
Could you please help us check why we are unable to create a OneDrive account using the @interfresh.com.vn domain?
We would also like to know whether our domain needs to be verified or configured with Microsoft before we can use it, and whether there are any existing Microsoft 365 or organizational settings associated with this domain that may be preventing account creation.
Please advise us on the required steps to enable OneDrive for our company email accounts.
Our company domain is:
interfresh.com.vn
Please let us know if you need any additional information or verification from our side.

Before OneDrive can be used with email addresses such as email address removed for privacy reasons, the domain interfresh.com.vn must be registered and verified in a Microsoft 365 tenant.
If the domain has not yet been verified with Microsoft, users will not be able to create Microsoft 365 accounts or use OneDrive with email addresses from that domain.
Another possibility is that the domain has already been registered in an existing Microsoft 365 tenant. In that case, Microsoft will prevent the same domain from being used in a different tenant until ownership and configuration issues are resolved.
I recommend verifying the following:
- Does your company currently have a Microsoft 365 subscription?
- Has the domain interfresh.com.vn already been added and verified in Microsoft 365?
- Is there an existing Microsoft 365 tenant associated with the domain?
- Are user accounts being created through Microsoft 365 Admin Center or by attempting to sign up directly with a company email address?
If you are the domain administrator, a good first step is to check whether the domain is already associated with a Microsoft 365 organization. This will help determine whether the issue is caused by a missing domain verification or by an existing Microsoft 365 configuration.
If you can provide the exact error message displayed when creating the account, it will be easier to identify the root cause and recommend the appropriate solution.
