Shared links not downloading for others, just gives error text files
kevinrmoon Yes, this exact thing just started happening to me aswell (@ 17 Feb). I've been sending files to my clients this way for years without a hiccup, but now, they're getting that error that you described.

I have been going back and forth with support, they are less than helpful. I have sent videos, confirmed it's not my network, I'm not on a VPN. The support has been maddening, I can' get them to understand that this is happening to multiple people.

happens to me too, surprised to hear this issue arising since feb and its already june now and microsoft have yet to fix this bug.
hope they can resolve this real quick to allow our hasslefree usage. To create zip file is not the best way and its taking alot of time.

kevinrmoon Yeah, a bit frustrating!
Good news is that I have found a 'work-around'... the download error only seems to be coming up when my clients try to download multiple files from the OneDrive folder (they can download individual files, but that takes a long time when there are over 20 files), so...when I zipped the files before uploading them to OneDrive, my client was able to download the zipped file to easily drag and drop them to their computer from the downloaded zipped file.
I know it's an extra step, and not ideal, but is a workaround until this issue gets fixed... "if" it gets fixed by Microsoft.

Could you tell me how you unzip the file before sending?
I will normally takes, let's say 15 pics and put them in a folder in one drive. Normally I share the link of that folder by email.
It sound like I would have to put the pics in a folder, then somehow unzip the folder into another folder and then send it??
Appreciate any help.
