Search function on Onedrive for iOS not working
I am having the same problem on my Android phone. I just searched for a word that I know is the name of a file and it did not find it but I was able to navigate to the file and open it. I'm guessing this is a cross platform problem. By the way I am replying to this message because I cannot figure out how to make a new thread. Do you have any tips for that?

Can you share details of Microsoft's response? Did they provide a ticket or issue number? This is a big problem and we have just found it as well.

I opened a service request number 7071813359through the app and they responded as follows.
“Our engineering team is working diligently to resolve this issue. I assure you that we are giving it our utmost priority. Currently we do not have an ETA on this issue. Your patience and cooperation are highly appreciated during this time. Please know that we are committed to resolving this issue as quickly as possible.”
They subsequently closed the ticket

I had exactly the same experience.
Search doesn‘t work on any of my OneDrive for IOS apps (1 iPhone, 2 iPads).
Raised the problem with Microsoft, got the same answer and Microsoft closed my ticket due to „lack of response“, even though I answered every time I got a request for further information.
Update Jun 24 2025:
I have an Office 365 account with 5 users, only one user has the issue.
I opened a new ticket and got following answer (translated from german):
Quote:

Hmmmm, probably caused by a recent update that was supposed to fix some other thing but broke this thing.
