Remove files shared with me
Hello
In OneDrive web version, there's a file shared with me. However I do not need access to this file anymore.
How do I remove it?

Hello everyone. Something similar has happened to me. On my company computers there is a name listed under "People" and this individual has shared a file with me (by mistake I assume). Through a lot of digging I finally found out he is an attorney and it was paperwork from some case he had worked on. I don't know him and whatever the docs are, have nothing to do with me. The secretary I talked to didn't seem to care and said, "I don't believe it's confidential. Just ignore it." I don't want to ignore it! Every time I log on there it is. It's intrusive! And before you all say just hide it, no, there should be a way to not automatically accept unwanted shares. What if it was something like illegal pics are something that could get a person in trouble. This to me is a big security concern.

Agree. there needs to be a way to entirely remove a shared file rather than just hiding it. I have a shared file I don't want or need in my list. Nor do I want the owner of the file to see my information as a person who has access to it. It is both a security and privacy issue, in addition to just cluttering up my list of files (yes, I can "hide" from my shared files, but that does nothing to hide it from the list of all files). This needs to be fixed.

Same here. I was able to remove (hide) it from Shared page, but it is still shown on the Home page. Very annoying.

This is a big security concern isn't it?
What if someone shares something nefarious with you? You'd be stuck with this file in your OneDrive.

Still have this problem over here. Seems that noone wants to clean up lists as it is still no functionality made available by Microsoft.
