Preparing to Upload Endlessly

I don't know what my One Drive is doing, but the status is always "Preparing to upload" for more than 2 hours now. Nothing is being uploaded and nothing is being downloaded. No information as well about the total files that are already being processed.

I already have a million files successfully synchronized between my HDD and OneDrive. I'm just trying to synchronize new files to the cloud from my HDD. You can see there's 1266 files remaining, but it does not decrease for more than 2 hours.

If I reset it using the command line as stated in this link below, then it will try to process a million file from the beginning. Thus a new round of endless "Processing files" will begin but it will not finish within 8 hours. It's not reasonable because I'm using a PC and not a server.

Fyi, I have very fast internet speed as shown below.

What should I do?

Why is OneDrive behaving like this?

The issue you mentioned, can happen for several reasons, here is one of the reasons.

When working with OneDrive, there are certain file types, file sizes, and naming conventions that need to be considered to ensure smooth syncing.

    Restrictions and limitations in OneDrive

    Here some more reasons:

    Close Other Applications

    Restart OneDrive

    Check OneDrive for Updates

    Check Storage Space

    Try Selective Sync

    Use the OneDrive Web Interface

    Check for System Issues

If this does not help, it would be beneficial if you share more information about your issue. Information such as OneDrive version, operating system, etc.
