Photos delete but reappear

I deleted them within the OD app on my PC, you could see the file sizes, I then deleted them from the recycle bin. You could see the available space increasing a gig at a time..
following the sync after deleting the above files, I now have thousands of duplicates in OD 😞

When you say OneDrive app on your PC what do you mean? File Explorer?Mike Williams Im havin' the same issue where I delete photos and they reappear?... i dont understand what overdrive app to use? i delete em from my file explorer n they reappear!
