OneDriveforBusiness - unable to share w/ tenant colleagues but able to share with external contacts
Hi,
we have one user wich are facing issues to share a folder on its ODB (he has M365 Business Standard license) with other colleagues inside the same tenant, but at the same time, he is able to share with external email addressess.
The issue occurs when sharing via Windows desktop Onedrive app, via website or mobile app.
The onyl way to share is using 'anyone with link' = that option is unsecure to us, so, no acceptable.
I already edit user properties on M365 Admin portal, on 'OneDrive' tab in order to DISABLE SHARING and enabled it again but no sucess.
Can someone help us???

Hi Renato_Pereira,
here are a few potential reasons why you might encounter difficulties when trying to share files with colleagues within the same tenant:
- Sharing limits:
It's possible that there's a restriction on the number of people you can share with simultaneously. - Account validation:
Microsoft may need to validate your account. - OneDrive status:
Ensure that OneDrive is functioning properly. - Organization restrictions:
Your organization might have implemented restrictions or disabled sharing. - License issues:
Verify if the user has the required SharePoint and OneDrive licenses. - External sharing settings:
There could be an issue with the external sharing settings of your SharePoint or OneDrive sites.

(LinkedIn)- Renato_PereiraBrass ContributorHi,
just to clearify, during remote session with M365 Support Team, OneDrive cannot have a shared folder with more than 50.000 objects - that was the reason of the issue.
This means that we need 'split' some network folders from the old FILESERVER before, spliting the content by letter (ie. Folder_A_to_C, Folder_D_to_F and so on); that was so crazy to change folder structures before migrate to the cloud and then to be able to share with colleagues from our team....
Microsoft should made 'more easy' the IT job, but...
