OneDrive: Unable to add shortcut for shared files under "My Files"
There are certain files that are shared with me in SharePoint. I have the editable rights for these files. I need to access these files in tableau. So I am trying to create a shortcut of these files ...
Experiencing this same problem in late 2023.
I suspect it has to do with wrong permissions.
I do have edit permission on the folder, as I can see in my partner's account where the folder was created.
On the mobile app I do see the "Add shortcut" menu item, but when I click it, it says:
"Cannot Add to Your OneDrive
'Folder' might have been moved or deleted, or you might not have permission to edit it."
Almost the same message appears when I try to rename the folder, which I should also be able to do.
Neither the "Add shortcut" menu item nor the "Rename" menu item appears on the web app on desktop.
