OneDrive Taking up space on C: even when nothing is being kept on device.
Try going into the OneDrive Settings > Sync and Backup > Advanced Settings > Free up disk space.
Keep your files freed up by going to Windows Start > type Storage Sense. Turn on Storage Sense, then tap it to open the Storage Sense settings. Scroll down and set when you want files to become cloud files once again.

I"m having the same issue. Removed OneDrive ages ago, cos it was auto-backing files to oblivion, using tons of space. Looked into the Storage Sense and it's fairly locked in its own system. No modifications allowed. Not pleased when it's showing 550G of used space 😡

I've already done the above. Majority of my files in the C drive is online only, there's maybe a 7 GB set of applications remaining. I can see that the size of disk of onedrive is 2 GB but logical size is 150GB and the computer is somehow adding this into the calculation of free size.
