OneDrive stuck on "signing in"
I also often receive this error occasionally. What works for me is to wait for 5 minutes and then restart system! Microsoft have been always notorius for such annoyances from time to time. This is not the first time. If you'll look into the solution that is provided is actually force revoke type i.e it means that you should uninstall and install. This means that software's testing was really messed up.
Holy cow it was the time. The date and time were wrong for some reason when I fixed it the repeated signing in stopped.

We experienced issues where our end-users were using OneDrive on remote desktops connected to Azure Cloud computers. It seemed that Microsoft Authenticator was not engaging during the login attempt, causing a block. However, when we “unlinked” the user’s OneDrive, closed OneDrive, then reopened it, and reconnected using the “add account” button, we were able to reconnect, and the Authenticator engaged.

Delirium_Sama Thanks, this lead me to the solution. In the toolbar I clicked the OneDrive icon, then to Settings (top right) -> Account and then Unlink this PC. Exit the OneDrive app, start it again, and it all went fine. Now everything works.
