OneDrive Shared View of folder limits to 100 files

We found an issue with folders in OneDrive being shared and containing 100+ files.

When using the list view, only the first 100 are loaded (on the fly), remaining files are not loaded and there is no possibility to scroll or page further.

When switching to thumbnail view, we can scroll further and see all files.

    Hey all,

To add onto Bruno's question, we identified a bug and it should be fixed now. Let us know if you're still experiencing issues. Thanks!

Hi - I am seeing this too (plus others) - we have a folder with approx 1000 files contained within - all are present and perfectly viewable by the owner. Viewers have been able to list all files until recently (apols - can't put an exact date on it). Now, when viewers view the folder using any browser, they only see the first 100 or so (depending on view type icon / list etc). All files are pdf. Interestingly, if the last listed file is displayed, viewers are then able to click next and view files which are not listed in the folder. This looks like the same issue as that described in the forum. Any help appreciated. Regards

A bit more info derived this evening...

If the last listed file is ticked, then 'info' is clicked, you of course see info for that file... plus the next 70 are magically listed below!

Next, unclick 'info' and untick the file, move to the bottom of the page, tick the last file again then click info again etc... each time the next 70 are listed... you can keep going until all files are listed!

Did I mention before... if logged into onedrive in the browser as the folder owner, all files are listed without issue when the folder page is first accessed.

Given everyone I know who views the folder is having the same issue, using different browsers, it suggests the root cause is at the server end... I'm surprised more users haven't reported the issue!... but then again, I guess not everyone has a shared onedrive folder with over 1000 files contained within...

Hoping the scoping of the apparent issue described here may help any MS dev who may happen to stumble upon this post 🙂

    This has re-emerged folks !

I share a swag of folders containing artworks for a veterans associations with other researchers.

I am not having any problems though One Drive seems to have changed the layout and size of the thumbnails (workable but not as nice as the old way of displaying them).

But people I am sharing the folder with are only getting 100 items a time on screen.

Help tried most things but maybe its an old bug back to haunt us ?

First time I hear about this issue...ODFB UI is using same client side technology to display files and I have many libraries where I have folders with more than 100 files and not problems when displaying all of them
