OneDrive pausing issues with Edge open
Hi, I have an odd issue. OneDrive will pause syncing when I open Edge. The odd this is I am not syncing any files in OneDrive.
I have uninstalled, remove settings, cache thew works, always the same issue.
I un pause OneDrive, close Edge and all works as expected, open Edge immediately goes to pause.
Any ideas?

This is on a desktop machine, so no battery saver or metered networking.

Tried a new profile in Edge, same issue, reinstalled Edge, same issue, Removed OneDrive, reinstalled same issue. I don't have OneDrive folder backup enabled.

That's exactly what I've been experiencing the last couple of days.
Opening Edge and immediately seeing OneDrive pause is a useful reproduction, but it is not a documented normal consequence of launching the browser. OneDrive does have automatic pause behavior for conditions such as battery saver and metered networking. First open the OneDrive activity panel and capture the exact pause message, then compare Windows power mode and network status immediately before and after opening Edge. Test while connected to power on the same network. Since reinstalling and clearing settings did not help, do not repeat that cycle yet. Instead, compare a clean Edge profile without extensions and record the OneDrive and Edge versions. Also confirm whether OneDrive folder backup is enabled, even if you have not intentionally placed files in its folder. If the pause is reproducible without an identified automatic-pause condition, send Microsoft the sequence, timestamps and message through OneDrive support.
