OneDrive For Business Sync Client Custom Message
Hello All
We are in the midst of OneDrive Rollout within the organization. We are planning to enable below GPO on all User PC's. Can the message sync client throws when users are low on disk space be customized to suit organization needs. Currently the way message shows up is not really intuitive for non technical users to take necessary action.
Block file downloads when users are low on disk space
This setting lets you specify a minimum amount of available disk space and block the OneDrive sync app (OneDrive.exe) from downloading files when users have less than this amount.
Users will be prompted with options to help free up space.
Enabling this policy sets the following registry key value to a number from 0 through 10240000. [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\OneDrive]" MinDiskSpaceLimitInMB

not only can Storage Sense interact with OneDrive and make content Cloud Only when it becomes stale or inactive, it can also automatically clean up temporary files that build up over time.- Naveen KarlaIron Contributor
dustintadam Hello Dustin Thanks for your response. The Storage Sense GPO’s are only available for PC’s running Windows 10 1903 or later which our workstations are not running yet. So we decided to deploy below GPO in the meantime before upgrade happens .
