I'm having the same issue but just for some people. For instance, mine works fine, but I have 3 users who are reporting this same issue. I tried looking at what Nikolino suggested, and everything appears to be setup correctly from what I can tell. I didn't see a specific setting "Users can sync files from SharePoint using the OneDrive client" when I checked our SharePoint settings, but I did find similar ones that were enabled.
