OneDrive changes metadata on files
I'll try to make this brief. OneDrive is not accepting/changing the metadata on my images after edit. What happens is this: 1) I create an image file with keywords in DAM 2) OD uploads correctly....

I understand that you have already taken several steps to address the issue, and it is frustrating that the problem persists despite your efforts. In that case, here are a few additional suggestions you can try:
- Check File Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to edit and modify files on OneDrive. Sometimes, permission settings can restrict users from making changes to files, including metadata.
- Disable Third-Party Apps: If you're using any third-party applications or tools that integrate with OneDrive, try temporarily disabling them to see if they're causing conflicts or interfering with metadata syncing.
- Test with Different Files: Try creating and editing metadata for different types of files (e.g., documents, images, videos) to see if the issue is specific to certain file types or occurs universally across all files.
- Use Web Interface: Access OneDrive through the web interface (browser) and make metadata changes directly on the OneDrive website. This can help determine if the issue is isolated to the desktop sync client or if it's a broader issue with OneDrive.
- Monitor Activity Logs: Check the activity logs or audit logs in OneDrive to see if there are any error messages or notifications related to metadata changes. This can provide valuable insights into what might be causing the issue.
- Reset OneDrive: Consider resetting the OneDrive desktop sync client to its default settings. This can sometimes resolve syncing issues and restore normal functionality.
- Temporary Workaround: As a temporary workaround, you may consider manually updating the metadata on the OneDrive website after making changes locally. While not ideal, this can help ensure that your metadata changes are retained until a permanent solution is found.
I hope one of these suggestions helps you resolve the issue with metadata changes not being retained in OneDrive. The text and steps were edited with the help of AI.

Thanks.
1. This is not an issue.
2. No 3rd party apps integrated with OD.
3. Interestingly, video files are not affected, and nor are lots of graphic files. It is only some jpg/tifs that are affected.
4. Accessing OD in the web interface just highlights the issue, i.e. the files stored there do not show the changed metadata, hence why the files get downloaded.
6. Done a reset. Makes no difference.
7. Not sure how to change metadata on OD web site. How is this done?
