New SharePoint Online Sync Preview
Hello. I've followed the instructions provide https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Get-started-syncing-SharePoint-sites-with-the-new-OneDrive-sync-client-Preview-6de9ede8-5b6e-4503-80b2-6190f3354a88?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US. After I click "Sync", I'm presented with the following.

- So I have had the same issue; So for me the following worked: Reboot of the PC .
It's described in the Known issues section of the article, use one of the methods to work around it detailed there.
Not seeing my issue listed.
Clicking "Sync > Sync Now" does the following...
IE: Nothing happens, except for a spinning tab
Chrome: It looks like the sync set up goes through...but no synching happens
Edge: Produces the error dialog box I posted
FF: Produces the error dialog box I posted
