Missing files
When I need to use the files stored in onedrive a long time ago, I find that only the directory is kept in onedrive, but the files are lost. Is there any way to retrieve them
- If you haven't' checked OneDrive online, do so as you may not be syncing all your files locally.
With OneDrive for Business, you will need to contact your IT department to access their backups. Files deleted from OneDrive are only available in system recycle bins for about six months. More extensive backups for recovery of deleted files are the responsibility of IT departments and end users.
