Lost all Onedrive files
I manage my Onedrive files primarily on my desktop and when I went into my computer today I couldn’t access any file because they all had the red X sync error. Then I went into the web to access them...

I wanted to respond to this in case someone has the same issue. Microsoft was able to restore all my files and said it was due to a "backend problem with my account". There was nothing I could do on my laptop, they needed to fix it on the server. I submitted a support ticket and someone from Microsoft OneDrive Support <mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons> emailed me back a few weeks later saying it was resolved.
