How to stop non-Office files to be shared with others?

Hi, 

Is it possible to prevent non-Office files to be shared with others within the organization and external?

To be more specific about the file type, then I'm asking to AutoCad files. 

 

Can it be prevented by DLP? or do anyone know any 3.party solution? 

 

Please advice.

    Afaik no, it's an "all or nothing" type of configuration, you cannot granularly specify which file types can be shared.

      VasilMichev, thanks for your answer. 

      So that means, it is possible to configure a specific folder so the content/non-office files wont be shared externally?  

      Do you possibly have any link where I can read more about it?
