How to download a file from onedrive that is marked as virus-infected?

just writing here because this error still persists. i stored a lot of files for my university in onedrive. some files related to mobile security containing android malware and some windows executables to sideload. onedrive blocked all zip containers and i was not even able to download them using the web ui. this is the biggest **bleep** i have ever seen. THANK YOU MICROSOFT!!!!! What will happen now: i will buy a google-one plan and cancel my xbox in favour of steam, will use an open-source office replacement and for sure will remove all files from your cloud. cant believe this. if there is one thing i hate most then it is when a company thinks it has to patronise me.
