Excruciatingly Slow Download Speed and zip Downloads are Corrupted / Unopenable
Welcome to Microsoft Tech Community, My name is Recep i'll be happy to help you today
here are some possible reasons and solutions for this issue:
- OneDrive has a limit of 10,000 files per .zip file and 20GB overall. If you try to download more than that, you may encounter errors or corrupted files. To avoid this, you can download fewer files at a time, or use the OneDrive sync app to sync your files to your computer.
- The .zip file may have been corrupted during the download process due to network issues or interruptions. To prevent this, you can check your internet connection and make sure it is stable and fast enough to handle large downloads.
- The .zip file may have been corrupted by a virus or malware on your computer or on the source device. To fix this, you can scan your computer and the source device with an antivirus software and remove any threats. You can also use a file repair tool to try to recover the corrupted .zip file.
- You can try Downloading files from OneDrive using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer
