Can One Drive KFR be used without MOVING the data from the source location

We are testing KFR and did not want the KFR process to remove files from the source.

We have users that use multiple devices and the current KFR copies all data from the documents source location (which is a network share) local and is very lagged on getting the data to the cloud. 

Ideally the KFR would Copy the file to the local cache, validate the file is uploaded to the cloud, and then remove the source copy. Thus avoiding data loss if the user jumps to another device and that local profile is purged or they never return to it.
