blank bar at bottom of onedrive window

there's a blank bar at the bottom of the screen that squishes the content above it so the actual content only takes up about half the screen. is there any way to get rid of this? i've tried clicking on it, restarting the browser, refreshing the page. clicking on settings does nothing (not even opening the settings menu).
