Toll-Free numbers now supported on NCE - must customers cancel their Communication Credits?
Hello.
It was announced last week that toll-free numbers are now supported in NCE.
An NCE customer was trying to get Communication Credits, and just figured out a work-around (because it was not showing up for NCE customers in the MS365 Admin Center - the work-around was to get the trial base subscription then cancelling it). But now that NCE can handle toll-free numbers, do NCE customers have to disable their Communication Credits and start using the pay-as-you-go meter? Or can they continue to use the Communication Credits method indefinitely?
Thanks in advance.

...now that NCE can handle toll-free numbers, do NCE customers have to disable their Communication Credits and start using the pay-as-you-go meter? As explained on this months Partner Center announcement, customers who are moving from legacy (Communication Credits) to NCE or have already moved from legacy to NCE, partners will need to ensure pay-as-you-go for toll-free numbers is set up correctly - February 2024 announcements - Partner Center announcements | Microsoft Learn
Or can they continue to use the Communication Credits method indefinitely?
If you have the "Auto-recharge" flag enabled within their account & do not want to utilize the consumption meter, Communications Credit balance will indefinitely refill itself and the commerce system won't switch to the post-pay mechanism. - Toll-free numbers for Microsoft Teams now supported on NCE - Microsoft Community Hub
