NCE Annual subscription ROE adjustments

Hi,

Can someone please confirm that local pricing for annual and triannual subscriptions in NCE are not going to be subject to the ROE adjustments, effectively keeping the end customer price the same for the course of the subscription?

I have not seen this explicitly call out in any documentation.

Thanks

  • Hi WillBen

Unfortunately, I do not have information on ROE for Microsoft and I'm not sure what team would disclose that information.

License subscriptions all work the same way whether legacy or NCE, in that at time of purchase, and at renewal the price is locked for the term (triennial, annual, or monthly).

A triennial subscription that commences on 1st August 2023 will have its price locked for the full 36-month term. It will not increase or decrease in price, and only when it renews will it pick up a new (current) price. Think of it as the customer locking in a known budget for their licenses for 3 years.

This works exactly the same for annual or monthly NCE subscriptions.
Legacy subscriptions are effectively an annual term.
