You're teammates are trying to reach you in Microsoft Teams....
I'm trying to figure out the way these email notifications work. I randomly get these emails for messages posted in a channel that I don't follow nor am I @mentioned.
@mentions could via team or channel. Also you’ll get them most likely if someone replied to a post you replied too.
Also now there are new options for channel notifications. Following isn’t required to get notifications of just new posts. Check the channel by right click and notification settings. You should be able to match the message you got with it in the activity feed and it will tell you why it triggered.
