Windows Text Suggestions messing with text in Microsoft Teams

I have text suggestions turned on in Windows which used to work perfectly in Microsoft Teams and still works perfectly elsewhere but not in Microsoft Teams. When I try to type something, and I click on suggested text then Teams keeps the already written text and add then suggested text after it instead of replacing the already written text with the suggested text.
