Why is there no option to make a test call in the Mac version of Teams? It's ridiculous.

There is still no option in Teams for Mac to make a test call. Despite all the assurances that it's in the device settings, it isn't. You can get a video preview of your camera output, but there is no way of checking that the mic works, not even visual feedback like the bar graph in the audio settings in Skype (which *does* also have a test call option for Mac).

In order to test that everything's working properly, I've had to download Teams on my phone, create a new MS account, and then initiate a call between my Mac and my phone. It's just plain ridiculous. Where is the benefit to either MS or the customer not to let them have a test call button on the Mac version?

Yeah, this is a DUH feature, that anyone with an IQ > 70 would have implemented already...

I've been fighting with Teams for 2 HOURS now trying to get my old work account removed from my Mac and a windows machine (no luck so far), and I reinstalled Teams so that I could run a non-work account on it.... I got into it, and now I want to make a test call to make sure that everything is perfect before my interview.... And thanks the incompetence of Microsoft, I can't even do that, so my test call will be THE INTERVIEW... Thanks asshats!  You have it in the Windows version....hidden under the Devices, but at least it is there... How hard can it be to do that anyway - 10 minutes of coding??   Maybe a day if it was really hard, I mean it should just be connection.Call("testAddress")... and Done! They MUST already have the remote responder setup to take and reply to the calls, so it should be so simple it would make you cry that they haven't done it...

In any event, this is just another reason to use Discord or another call service to do your calls...
