Why is my New teams jumping to a different chat other then the one I am in?

Question

When I'm in a MS Teams chat with someone, it just jumps to another chat without notice. It happens when I'm not clicking on anything.

I have uninstalled old teams, renamed the new teams folder:

C:\Users\user.name\AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe.old

i have uninstalled the new teams and reinstalled.

i am still having this issue

Having the same issue when opening Teams from the system tray on Windows 10 on my work laptop. Version Details:

You have Microsoft Teams version 25153.1010.3727.5483.
You've got the latest version. It was last checked on 24-6-2025.
Early Access through Public Preview

Also noticed this on my personal laptop running Windows 11. It is getting extremely annoying.
