When posting a message in a team or channel, can I use Markdown?
I've gotten used to writing my own Markdown. I know that when posting a message in a MS Teams team or chat, that the message box has design icons for the message box, for things like making a string bold or italic. Does the MS Teams message box allow the user to enter their own Markdown? I would much rather do that, then depend upon the design icons for bold, italic, H1, H2, etc.
- Hi,
Unfortunately markdown support in Teams is very limited Today. See this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-markdown-formatting-in-teams-4d10bd65-55e2-4b2d-a1f3-2bebdcd2c772
- ariel_balterCopper ContributorI totally agree. PITA. And, it's so hard to get out of the code blocks once they start.
