Feb 16, 2022What’s New in Microsoft Teams Feature Spotlight - Mirror my video
Hey Teams Community,
I’m hoping to start a discussion each week about one of the new features mentioned in the monthly What’s New in Microsoft Teams.
The new Mirror my video feature in Teams makes it so users no longer have to see the text in their video flipped. This feature is a game changer for teachers using a whiteboard and want to stay engaged with their video stream! Now, presenters have the option to change their video so they can read the text correctly that they themselves are writing on a whiteboard. This new feature also works with virtual backgrounds that have text in it, as it could be distracting to see flipped text while speaking during a Teams call. Simply go to your Device Settings and toggle off Mirror my video.
Will you start using this feature during your calls? Does it take getting used to seeing your video stream mirrored? Are there any fun camera tricks this new feature allows you to perform?
Each week we'll have different members of the Teams team here to discuss the feature and answer questions about it. This week we are brining Holly Lehman to the discussion space!

I love this feature. Makes me feel like we are in the same room again.
What are reasons you have used this feature so far? Are you liking the quick video's we have been providing in the blog series?
