Virtual camera and sound issues

Hello there - we are facing several issues while running our webinars, I try to describe them as best as I can:

SW setup: OBS 26.0.2 as virtual cam, VB-Audio VoiceMeeter Banana

HW Setup: Canon R (Blackmagic pocket), 2 HDMI grabbing cards converting camera and a TV with speakers’ presentation, clip-on mics

We need to stream instead of using virtual camera in MS Teams Live Event. Our problem is with sound – it does not always work. When we use the clip-on microphones, always 1 channel does not work. Our suggestion is that MS Teams somehow detects the sound from 2nd channel as noise and therefor ignors the 2nd channel – that appears only while live streaming.

Other problems we have while playing in MS Teams videos with sound as media file via OBS:  MS Teams shows No sound going to the microphone, but OBS shows sound goes in.
