Very disappointed with delay to 3x3 video on Teams
standrewskinson I have an update from the Teams product team.
"I wanted to clarify that the 3x3 video is currently rolling out, and we expect it to be enabled for 100% of users in the Public ring by May 15th. MC212453 was posted regarding the Multi-Window Meetings & Calling experience. 'This new experience will also include recently announced features such as 3x3 video, raise hands, and custom backgrounds.' was included to say the Multi-Window experience will have parity with those features. I apologize for the confusion."
quick question... will the 3x3 video upgrade be available for teams free version? i already have raise hand available on my teams app but i dont see blur, background change and the 3x3 video anywhere...
Jun_DP Hello! May I ask what version you're on? (About - Version). Sometimes you just have to do a manual sign out / sign in, check for an update or clear the Teams cache to get a "refresh" in the desktop app. As far as I know the video layout 3x3 is being rolled out to everyone. If this is incorrect I hope somebody will enlighten me (I have never used Teams free).
Jun_DP I'm pretty sure that blur background is only available on the desktop app and not via the web browser.
