Using Teams on Xbox One with Kinect

Hi together,

is there a way to use Teams on an Xbox One that has a Kinect? Would be great to use it in a conference room.

Thanks for hints

Using Microsoft Teams on an Xbox One with a Kinect for a conference room setting is an interesting idea, but it requires a bit of creativity since there isn't a direct application for Microsoft Teams on Xbox. Here are a few ways you could potentially achieve this setup:

Option 1: Use the Microsoft Edge Browser on Xbox One
As of now, Microsoft Teams doesn't have a dedicated app for Xbox One, but you can use the web version of Teams through the Microsoft Edge browser available on Xbox. Here's how to do it:

Open Microsoft Edge on your Xbox One. This browser is built into the console.
Navigate to the Microsoft Teams web app. Go to https://teams.microsoft.com.
Log in with your Teams account credentials. You may need to use the Xbox controller or connect a keyboard to the Xbox for easier typing.
Set up your Kinect as the webcam and microphone. Kinect should automatically be recognized as both a camera and a microphone on the Xbox.

You can connect to microsoft Teams already via the Edge browser in XBOX.  You can view others via their webcam, however you cannot use a webcam / kinect to display you.  In order to do this, Microsoft must make an XBOX version of the Microsoft Teams app.  So far there are no plans to do so, however the current state of covid lockdowns in countries means people are screaming for this to happen.

There is a video demonstrating how to connect with what you already have.  This was aimed at school students to connect to school when they have no other internet device, but this applies to anyone.
