Use teams only as a video conferencing tool and not IM

Hey all.

I'm currently looking into solutions for different instant messengers / conferencing tools. While we absolutely adore Microsoft Teams' calling functionality (audio + video). The Chatting functionality is something we don't need.

Even after research, I'm not sure so hopefully someone here can help.

Is it possible to deactivate or prevent any form of 'Chat' within Microsoft Teams? So only the Calls functionality is available to our members?
