Upgrading Teams
mbakula Your new license may not have fully propagated across all Microsoft services yet. Waiting for up to 24 hours after the upgrade can often resolve this issue.
If you possess another Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license from your workplace or school, it could take precedence over your Microsoft 365 Personal license. Signing out of Teams and signing back in using your Microsoft 365 Personal account might do the trick.
Reinstalling Teams is a helpful step, and if the problem persists, clearing the Teams cache can be the solution. Here's what you need to do:
Close Teams. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box. Type %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and press Enter. Delete all the files and folders in this directory. Restart Teams.
Verify that you're signed into Teams with the correct account. Attempt to create a new meeting using the Teams calendar. Explore the option of creating a meeting from the Teams desktop or web app or on a different device.
