Unable to Register or Sign Into Teams what to do

I have same problem as that of thread named "Unable to Register or Sign into Teams"

The thread was more than a year old. Is Microsoft still struggling with the same issue? My id is on skype and I want to use the same id for work. I don't have work email-id provided by the employer.
