Unable to re-install Microsoft Teams

Hi,

I have been using Microsoft teams for a while, but in the last few days I've been having an issue with the app. It wasn't connecting to the internet and is constantly in offline mode though I'm connected to the net. 

So, I un-installed the app with the intent of installing it once again. But even after un-installing, I see the icon in the list of apps when I click 'Start'.

And when I try to open, un-install or anything else, I see the below error.

I tried re-installing the app, but when I double click on the .exe file, nothing happens. I see the Teams icon in the taskbar for a sec, and then it disappears. Nothing happens thereafter. 

Can someone please help me with this?
