Unable to download photos from teams Desktop application
Hi All
I have a What's app bot channel in teams that consumers send photos of products they are not happy about and would like a refund .Like stale bread and expired flour etc.
When the agent tries to download the photo in teams it gives a cannot download this file error .
Any ideas how to resolve this ,I have tried the web app still the same .
The work around is taking screen shots but would like a permanent solution.

This is definitely not normal behavior. It would help our team if when you see this you could report it by going to the question mark on the bottom left hand side of your Teams client and click 'help' -->Choose Report a Problem. We have seen this a couple of other times but haven't been able to reproduce the problem so if you continue to see it, your logs will be helpful in identifying the issue.
Have you tried looking at the files to see if you can view from there? Typically anything you upload to the message will be stored in files. I'm wondering if it is viewable when you go there?
In addition, you can ask the support forum at answers.microsoft.com if they have a quick fix or can help you troubleshoot, immediately. This is not a known issue. I'm sorry for the troubles you're seeing.

I can replicate the issue and I was trying to follow your instructions ,from my side when I click on help
I can only see Topics ,Training , What 'new ,Suggest a feature ,Give feedback and not report a problem .
These are posts so I can only see them there not viewable under files .
So users sends complains to a number using WhatsApp and in teams when received this WhatsApp chat will have the number of the consumer and the picture of the product they have an issue with so we click on the picture it enlarges and then try to download.
I will arrange to send a support ticket I hoped there was a quick fix.
