The new version of Teams does not allow a Tenant to log in with collaboration invitations

I am in an education environment and we have a corporate tenant with whom we collaborate as guests of the organization. With the old client, using the invitation link we can log in. With the new client, it asks for access credentials but does not identify the invitation, so it does not log in to collaborate. Has this feature been taken into account? Thank you.

  • interesting so in the old teams you could tenant switch in the new teams you need to login via the browser?

With the web version, when you log in you identify the invitation and switch to the correct tenant.

From the new Team, the guest account does not identify itself with the tenant and tries to log in as a standard M365 account, thereby rejecting the login.

Hmm have not seen this behaviour before could it be that they changed something in that guest tenant?
