Teams Updates on MacOS - unexpectedly and unasked in the middle of a call

Deal All,

 

in our company we have some Mac's (Intel and Silicon, older and current MacOS). Since two years, the users are reporting that Teams is automatically updated, unexpectedly and unasked in the middle of a call. As far as I know, the update process of teams works automatically and can't be setup by an admin, intune or anything else. So, has anyone an idea why this happens and how I can solve this for my users?

    ChrisMann This is  happening to a user with a macos managed by intunes.

    However I do not manage teams directly via intunes, only MS365 apps.

    What settings should I check in intune to try avoid this problem ?
