Teams problem
My E mail was hacked and contacts received bogus emails. The hackers added a n auto forward and some rules to my account which I have deleted. My email provider confirms that everything is now ok. I have changed my password. When I now set up a teams meeting, the person to whom the invite is sent tries to reply/accept it but gets an undeliverable message saying mailbox unavailable. Can anyone shed light on what is happening please?

Hi Paul_Rawlinsonrolo , I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your email account. It's possible that the hackers may have made some changes or configurations to your email account that are causing the undeliverable message when sending Teams meeting invitations. Here are a few possible explanations and steps you can take to resolve the issue:
Outdated or incorrect email address: Double-check that you are entering the correct and up-to-date email address of the person you are inviting to the Teams meeting. Small typos or outdated addresses can result in undeliverable messages.
Lingering email rules: Although you mentioned deleting the rules added by the hackers, it's worth verifying that there are no residual rules affecting the delivery of emails. Check your email settings to ensure there are no unexpected or suspicious rules that could be causing the issue.
Email service disruptions: It's possible that there could be temporary disruptions or technical issues with the email service provider you are using. Consider contacting your email service provider's support team to inquire if they are experiencing any system-wide issues that could be affecting email delivery.
Blocked or flagged email: If the person you are inviting has previously marked your email as spam or added your email address to their blocked list, it could result in undeliverable messages. Instruct them to check their spam or blocked email folders and make sure your email address is not blocked.
Contact your email provider: If the issue persists, reach out to your email service provider's support team again and provide them with specific details about the undeliverable message and the problem you are encountering. They should be able to investigate further and provide assistance in resolving the issue.
By following these steps and seeking assistance from your email service provider's support team, you should be able to identify and resolve the problem causing the undeliverable messages when sending Teams meeting invitations.
