Teams Previews Personal Features for Desktop and Browser Clients

 

People with Teams accounts in Microsoft 365 tenants can now add a personal Microsoft Services account to their profile and access Teams using that account in the desktop and browser clients. The functionality available for personal users is limited compared to what's available to their work counterparts, but you can chat, call, and share files. That might be enough for some, but is it enough to convince people to drop WhatsApp and the other platforms used to connect people in their personal life?
